Wednesday 15 April 2026 Oracy History Lesson in 6E - Debating the legacies of slavery. This afternoon, we delved into the past to explore the legacy of slavery in Britain, from key revolutions through to the passing of the Slavery Abolition Act on 28th August 1833. The children thoughtfully considered both sides of the argument, using historical sources to support their ideas. It was a pleasure to see their mature and reflective performances around such a significant and sensitive topic.

Thursday 26 March 2026 3A & 3B - DT Year 3 children in classes 3A and 3B have had a fantastic time creating a savoury food item as part of their DT project. They used a range of practical skills, including chopping, peeling, grating and spreading, to prepare their chosen product—either a bagel, sandwich or wrap. The children selected a variety of healthy ingredients and carefully considered the Eatwell Guide, which they have previously explored in both Science and DT lessons.

Wednesday 25 March 2026 A fabulous First day at the Conway Centre! Year 4 have settled into their activities and have been real firestarters! They have been on the water, up the climbing wall, across the zip wire and toasted marshmallows in the woods!
