Wear Red Day: Showing Racism the Red Card ❤️
On Friday 16th October, our Year 3–6 pupils took part in Wear Red Day in support of Show Racism the Red Card, an anti-racism educational charity.
This links closely to our school ethos of ensuring that every child feels safe, happy and respected. Through an age-appropriate assembly, we celebrated the diversity in our community and explored why it is important to challenge prejudice and use our ‘power for good’.
Our pupils were reminded that we all have the power to make a difference and help build a community where everyone feels valued, included and respected.
