Year 5 Astrocamp

Last Friday 120 children camped overnight at St George's to take part in the Year 5 Astro-camp with opportunities provided for children to take part in stargazing sessions, planetarium and several astronomy workshops.

Event was a huge success and demonstrated our children's outstanding scientific knowledge and skills.

Children had dinner, movie night, overnight camp and breakfast at our school. A memory that man of them will treasure forever.

Mr Cassidy wanted to thank the amazing staff who ran two days of workshops with very little sleep. He was with them on Thursday night but escaped home for the comfort of his own bed!
