Y5 visit the world’s first Poetry Expo in Liverpool

Some Y5 children were selected to visit and take part in the world’s very first Poetry Expo in Liverpool organised by famous local poet Joseph Roberts. Children visited stations led by many organisations from across Merseyside including; Merseyside Police, Merseyrail, Everton FC and many more. 

This years theme was based on “home”. Children were asked to write and share a variety of poems based on their version of “home”. The children were an absolute credit to our school and how they interacted and engaged with others at the event.
