World Champion, Isla!

Huge congratulations to Isla in year 4 who is currently in Orlando competing in the gymnastics world championships. 

Not only did she place extremely well in the Copper 1 finals and is coming home a world champion for 2 events, but she’s also 1st place WORLD CHAMPION for her round and placed 7th for copper 2 level (next level up).

Beam -1st- WORLD CHAMPION  

Floor - 3rd  

Vault - 4th 

As well as these achievements she also got  overall World Champion for her age group from the entire day. 

Plus her team (New Brighton Gymnastics Club) got 1st place for copper 1 level for the entire day.

She can’t wait to return to school and show her friends and teachers all her medals.
