Topsite Wheelie Breakfast/Bling Your Ride 2024!
This morning, the children of Topsite were out in force to take part in our Wheelie Breakfast/Bling Your Ride event as part of our active travel initiatives. A huge well done to everyone who blinged their bike, scooter, skateboard and even their shoes! St. George’s prides itself on encouraging walking, cycling and scooting to school as well as educating pupils on how to do so as safely as possible. Our first 100 active travellers were rewarded with a free pastry and juice, and children were able to purchase reflective items for £1 all before 8:40!
Well done and thank you to our magnificent Eco Council who aided in the selling of reflectors and the serving of breakfasts - we couldn’t have run this event without you!
As always, thank you for your support with these events. It was lovely to see so many decorated active travellers! The prize for best decorated will be given out during Friday’s assembly.
