The Visit of Lauren St John

We were delighted to welcome award-winning author Lauren St John to St George’s! Lauren hosted a special assembly where she spoke about her fascinating upbringing in Zimbabwe, her journey to becoming a successful author, and her lifelong love of animals — a theme that inspires many of her books.

The children were captivated by her stories and had the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions about her life and writing. Many pupils were also thrilled to purchase personally signed copies of her books to take home.

It was a truly inspiring visit that encouraged our young readers and writers to follow their passions and dream big!
