Remembrance

Our Year 6 pupils have been deeply engaged in learning about Remembrance and the impact of war. As part of their history work on World War I and World War II,the children recently took part in a brilliant Evacuation Day, immersing themselves in the experiences of evacuees through role play, artefacts, and storytelling. This hands-on learning brought history to life and helped the pupils develop a deeper understanding of the courage and resilience shown during wartime. Today, at 11am, Year 6 participated in a thoughtful Remembrance observance, where they reflected on the sacrifices made by so many.
