Inspiring Future Engineers in Years 5 and 6

Altru Theatre Company recently visited Years 5 and 6 to deliver an exciting, high-energy performance designed to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of engineers. The interactive show, co-designed by the RAF, the Royal Navy and BAE Systems, introduced pupils to key engineering concepts with a particular focus on materials and their properties.

Through engaging theatre, problem-solving challenges and plenty of audience participation, pupils were encouraged to think creatively about how different materials are used in real-world engineering. The session successfully combined learning with entertainment, helping children to see engineering as innovative, accessible and full of possibilities, and leaving them inspired to explore STEM subjects further.
