Year 3/6 teach teaching

Year 6 pupils did a fantastic job today of supporting year 3 pupils with their reading and maths lessons. Firstly, year 6 listened to readers and asked questions to deepen understanding. They then provided 1-1 help with using a ruler to draw and measure lines. Their support today was invaluable and all children benefited from the arrangement: year 6 pupils refined their definitions and success criteria around measure and year 3 pupils became even more accurate when using a ruler to measure. Well done to all pupils involved!
