Y6 Oracy Assembly

Mrs Roberts led a fantastic assembly this afternoon for year 6 pupils and staff. Children had to think deeply about what oracy is, what successful oracy looks like and how to reflect effectively in groups. Throughout the assembly, pupils worked in groups of 6 to discuss various topics and become experts. In addition to practising their skills when acting as initiators, probers and summarisers, they have developed their vocabulary when speaking like an expert. There was also talk about chocolate so we’ve all left very hungry!
