National Poetry Day in Year 6

Year 6 have been studying poetry from the wonderful book titled 'Courage in a Poem'. Today, they presented poems from this book as well as their own creations. We were blown away by the positive messages shared in this assembly and the children's courage to stand and perform in front of their peers.

Well done to all children who participated as well as those who listened intently and fed back on the wonderful, empowering poetry shared.
