Labour Party Conference

Recently, four children from Year 5 and 6 were selected to take part in a 'Speakers Corner' event at the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool. Pupils were asked to write and deliver a speech explaining how oracy had helped them and had a positive impact on their education at St George's.

Sadly, the event was cancelled which resulted in the children being unable to deliver their speeches at the event. However, we were so proud  of the incredible speeches they had produced that we did not want these to go unnoticed. Recordings of the children's speeches will be uploaded in due course.
