Biodiversity Day at Bidston Golf
Some of our Eco Council from Topsite celebrated Biodiversity Day by taking part in a range of different activities at Bidston Golf Course. We helped create a huge habitat hotel on the course, filling it with various types of materials - such as pinecones, bamboo, cork and straw - to enable living creatures to have a place to thrive. We also created hedgehog vessels AND had a hedgehog talk from Jackson's Animal Rescue (as it is hedgehog awareness week!), then planted bulbs across the rough of the course, which will bloom next Spring. Please enjoy some images from the day.

"We learned that if a hedgehog is out in the day time, it must be in danger. Hedgehogs are nocturnal animals, so they should not be out in the day. If they are, we can call Jackson's to help."
